The Resource Development Center, Inc. operates the WIA (Workforce Investment Act) “Life Path” program providing services to Youth in Stanly County.

Our current participant guidelines are for youth who have dropped out of school.

The year-round program is designed to guide and connect participants with:
educational opportunities including tutoring assistance
Employment Literacy strategies
workplace opportunities
and supportive services to eligible youth ages 16-21.

Our program goals are not only to impress upon our participants the importance of education and the need for life long learning to stay current in jobs as they evolve, but the value of being a good citizen by becoming an active participant in the community.

The LifePath program is funded by the Centralina Workforce Development Board.
